    Hi all, We have rejoined the boat in Cagliari, having deserted it in October 2010.     I am SO embarrassed because, of course you know how to pack light, plus you were always uber-intelligent. Sail boats have infrastructure requirements and a 4-5 month trip requires LOTS of stuff.     Happy Easter to all. Our suitcases are overweight - it is all the boat spares kit - may have to ditch the non-essentials like shoes and that extra pair of trousers.

      • Mark Ganzer Oh Wendy - you must remember what it was like to travel light, as in back in the day, when we'd hitch hike from Macomb to Barrington - back pack with smokes, a 6-pack, cash, change of socks, couple of shirts .. but then, I don't know how long you're going to gone. My prescription is if you're going on a short trip - like one month.
